What happens after I apply?

After you submit your online application, it is instantly sent over to our safety department for review.  They begin to process your application by reviewing your MVR, PSP, Background, and Past Employment Verifications.

Once this information is received, your application is reviewed by our team.  When approved, our safety department will give you a call to schedule Orientation.

How long after I apply can I start driving?

This depends on several factors. We first need you to go through orientation, which can be done at our Lawrenceburg location.

Scheduling for orientation is usually available within 3-5 days of applying online, but depends on your current work schedule and how soon you can get to one of our facilities.  During orientation you will be given a drug test which usually comes back the next day, but can sometimes take up to 2 days.

Expect up to a week after applying before you begin your driving career at South East Carriers.

What is Driver Orientation?

Driver Orientation is the process in which you come to one of our facilities and meet our staff and begin training for your new career.

Training includes spending time with our safety director learning all aspects of our equipment and learn proper safety techniques required for your job.

– Social Security Card
– Medical Card
– Full DOT Physical

How do I get to Driver Orientation

If you want to leave a vehicle on the lot in Lawrenceburg, then you can simply drive to orientation and do just that.

However, if you wish to not leave a vehicle on the lot, we will provide you with a company paid rental car to get you to Lawrenceburg for orientation. But keep in mind, this is a one time company paid rental, if you need to get back home for any reason and can’t take your truck home, you will need to provide your own transportation.

Where do I stay during Driver Orientation?

We will provide you with a company paid hotel room every night needed for orientation.
